New Hartford is a quaint small town in Northwestern Connecticut with all sorts of year-round recreational activities, from summer lake fun to winter-time skiing, famous fishing on the Farmington River, West Hill Lake, and much more.

We have storage for Bikes, Kayaks/Canoes, and Skis as well as trailered boats. Receive beach passes and options for more custom personalized services.

The house is on Main Street, a short walk to the center of town with the Farmington River across the street. We are less than 10 minutes from Ski Sundown, The Jerram Winery and West Hill Lake. As well as many New Hartford Parks and Hiking Trails // 10 minutes to Peoples State Forest and 1/2 hr. to the Infinity Music Hall, 1 hr. to Tanglewood and The Berkshires

The house is SMOKE FREE, and has 4 fresh bedrooms, each with a private bath. Two of the bedrooms are suites.

WE DO NOT COOK FOR YOU. YOU HAVE FULL USE OF THE KITCHEN

The Guests have their own Kitchen and it's well-equipped; with private cabinet spaces for each room, and a large dining area.

Enjoy the screened-in porch and garden terrace, too..

The House Rules to maintain hypo-allergenic standards are as follows:

No pets.

No Smoking on the Premise at all.

No shoes worn upstairs.

House Rule to maintain the peace:

Noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Parking is in the backyard, and there are stairs to enter the house.

The rooms and one suite are on the second floor; the other suite is on the third floor.

Any issues negotiating stairs should be considered when booking a room.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and dinning room. Limit food upstairs to drinks and snacks.

No sports equipment in the house, we have storage for your convenience, on the porch and in the outbuildings.

PLEASE NOTE : If you plan to use the lake or river bring your own beach towels as we DO NOT provide linen service out side of the house. That also goes for kitchen and dinning wear. PLEASE NO house accessories allowed to leave the premisses. Thank you.

There are two typical Motor Inns close by if you prefer your vehicle parked in front of your door, have issues with stairs, and would like to leave your shoes on in your room.

They are the Alcove Motel and The Hillside Motel.

We book most all our rooms through Air BnB. They give both you and us added security. Air BnB handles the card and gives you the option to cancel up to 24 hours notice. If you use our site and book a room we will not refund your money, because we have to pay the PayPal and take the room off the Air BnB calendar of availability.
